Gratitude naturally arises as one enters practice and experiences the support of Sangha, the community of practitioners. One way to express our gratitude is through Dana (generosity) in the practice of regular membership giving. While no one needs to formally join the Tampa Zen Center in order to share in our practice, TZC is only able to exist through contributions of time and money by committed supporters. Membership pledges are the cornerstone of the budget that makes our existence possible.

General Membership
General Membership is for those who want to support the Center at the most basic level. The term “support” here is understood to mean any kind of contribution which promotes the continued functioning and well-being of the Center. A suggested general membership contribution is $35 per year. As you attend from time to time, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the Dana bowl.

Supporting Membership
Supporting Membership is for more active practitioners. It is for people who expect to come often enough and regularly enough to justify a larger investment in the Center. Instead of making a Dana contribution weekly as you attend, we ask that you make a monthly contribution of $25 that we can count on and that will insure that you can have Tampa Zen Center available in your life.

Contributing Membership
Contributing Membership is for those who, in addition to being a Supporting Member, are willing to make a further contribution to the existence of the Center. We ask, if you can, to contribute $50 or more per month. Thank you.
